Das Moskauer Symphonie Orchester bietet im Rahmen einer Europatournee durch Italien, Deutschland und Spanienein erlesenes Programm. Von Peter Tschaikowsky erklingen drei seiner bekanntesten Werke, die Phantasie-Ouvertüre nach William Shakespeare „Romeo und Julia“, das Konzert für Klavier und Orchester Nr. 1 b-moll und die 5. Sinfonie e-moll. Das Klavierkonzert, eines der beliebtesten Werke im internationalen Repertoire, spielt der weltbekannte Pianist Alexander Ghindin. Heute ist er 32 Jahre alt und schon „Verdienter Künstler Russlands“. Bereits mit 14 Jahren hatte er als jüngster Sieger aller Zeiten die Goldmedaille beim Tschaikowsky-Wettbewerb Moskau gewonnen. 1999 errang er den Ersten Preis des Königin-Elisabeth-Klavierwettbe-werbs Cleveland. Alexander Ghindin ist inzwischen ständiger Gast bei den führenden Orchestern der Welt.

  The Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, is one of the best symphony orchestras in Japan, and was founded in 1965 by the city government for the celebration of the olympic summer games (Tokyo 1964). The orchestra has its base to a famous concert place of Tokyo, the festival hall. A remarkable section of the orchestra repertoire became the works of Gustav Mahler, which were played under the direction of famous conductors such as Hiroshi Wakasugi, Eliahu Inbal and Gary Bertini.
